Shimmering Sea
A glimpse of a restless sea, captured in hammered silver.
The silver earrings Shimmering Sea remind me of a salt-swept and shimmering ocean. They are hammered and lightly oxidized to create a rustic and distinctive texture. After oxidizing, I carefully polished them so that the highlights of the “sea” could shine through.
These are long earrings, measuring about 8.5 cm. The different elements are linked together so they move freely and gently sway as you move.
Despite the generous amount of silver, they are light and comfortable to wear. They will elevate your outfit whether you wear them in everyday life or for a special occasion.
I made two versions of these earrings. The pair you see here is available – the other pair I decided to keep for myself.
