Landing Ashore
A bold silver ring with a knot.
Forged from thicker silver wire, hammered and lightly oxidized to enhance its rustic character.
When I made this ring, I played with the silver wire and let it form a wild knot. As I worked on it, I thought about childhood boat trips with my family. When we arrived at a small island for swimming, someone had to throw the rope ashore and try to fasten it to a tree growing near the water’s edge. It was not always easy, and the result was often a wild knot rather than a proper sailor’s knot.
This ring carries a little of that memory.
Only one ring like this exists.
